Last Sunday, the PLC Pipe Band took part in the annual ‘Legends of Brass - Last night of the Proms’ concert. This is the second year that the Pipe Band have been invited to partake in this special event and relished in the opportunity to perform pieces from their competition brackets, their concert repertoire and a couple of fan favourites. Playing in front of a crowd of 650, the students yet again displayed their professionalism and musical expertise with excellent performances in both halves, with many spectators claiming the band’s performance as the highlight of the concert! The PLC Pipe Band would like to thank everyone at the Legends of Brass for allowing them to be a part of such a special occasion. Well done to everyone involved.
